Global Women Intact hosted a fundraising event for Greg Archer, editor-in-chief at Santa Cruz Good Times. We made $500. 00 and donated the entire sum to Andrew Yocum, a volunteer at the HIV/AIDS clinic of the Ushirika Medical Community Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. The HIV/AIDS epidemic has swept across all of Africa and affects the lives of thousands of men and women and children worldwide. We are delighted to have made this first of many contributions to help alleviate the suffering caused by this disease.
