Dear Supporter of Global Women Intact:

Thank you for your support!

Many of you have asked, "How can I help Global Women Intact do their work?"
Here are a few of the ways:

· Sponsor a child today through Global Women Intact
· Buy a Handicraft to Save a Clitoris, a fundraising campaign to empower women and girls through education, information, and alternative forms of initiation ceremonies
· Buy a clitoris shirt or a cup

Most of the items we sell cost less than $50.00. We are desperately seeking funds to help bring a brighter future to women and girls in rural villages in Africa. We also appreciate if you will please forward this message to your friends. We need your help.

Women and girls will benefit from your buying these unique, authentic African handicrafts. Also, with a donation of only $10.00 a month, you can make a difference!

Thank you for your time and attention, and for giving our organization an opportunity for growth. For details on our programs and more information, email
us or please check our Web site at www.celebrateclitoris.com.

The profits from selling these items are offered as interest-free business loans to help traditional African women support themselves by making and selling handicrafts and clothing. The loans are helping them establish alternate sources of income. As part of the support Global Women Intact provides, we import and sell these beautiful goods on their behalf. These women-owned businesses produce crafts, necklaces, bangles, masks, statues, and clothing.

This new program, called Save a Clitoris, or the Village Women Empowerment
Program, came about from meetings we had with women who perform circumcisions in rural areas in Liberia, Senegal, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, as an alternate way for them to support themselves rather than through the income they received performing circumcisions. By providing them with alternate means of support, we allow them the freedom to choose another profession so that they can embrace change rather than resist it.

Won't you please help them to help themselves? Thank you. We appreciate your support.

Sincerely,

Sia Amma
